The Greenhouse Growers Association is a private sector association set up with the objective of promoting the agenda of greenhouse growers in Ghana.
It is a non-profit association representing the collective interests of greenhouse growers in Ghana as well as other key players in the industry. The association was registered in 2020 and started operations in 2021. Its operations are voluntarily governed by a body of executives (Founding Executives) headed by a president, and supported by a treasurer, coordinating executive and a secretary. The Association is broken down into 2 main factions being (a) growers, and (b) Industry Actors (input suppliers and agronomists) It is made up of about 40 member farmers whose operations extend from about 500 to 150,000 square meters.
